Setting Up a Cutting Surface

You will need a large flat cutting surface to lay out mark and cut your fabric.  If you can get a folding table be sure that it is sturdy enough to support your leaning weight while tracing, marking and cutting fabric.  A cut length of plyboard may also be used laid over a table or between two chairs as needed.  The folding table or cut plyboard should be at least 36 to 40 inches wide by 5 to 6 feet long.  Insure that the cutting surface is at a height that is comfortable for you.
